Elite’s Palazzo Hume tows like a small touring van on the road but, with its slide out extended, on site it has all the luxuries of a big family touring van.
It sits on a 150mm-diameter Allgal steel chassis, with Rocker Roller 3500kg suspension, a 50mm riser and shock absorbers combined with 15-inch rims, with Elite hubs and all-terrain tyres.
The under-steel mesh attached to the A-frame is perfect to store your hoses, cables or even firewood, thus allowing maximum use of the full tunnel boot at the front of the van.
The sides are clad with aluminium stucco while the front and rear are in composite. The one-piece fibreglass panel roof has no joints and therefore no leaks.
High checker plate offers better protection while the Stucco creates an ageless look.
The van has great mood lighting from the LED entrance step and entry handle, through to the strip LED flooring and cupboard lighting.
The flooring is rubber-backed lino that’s hard wearing yet forgiving on the feet.
The queen bed is at the front of the van while the kids’ bunks at the rear allows the kids to be put to bed while mum and dad finish a drink outside in the moonlight.
Two quiet Sirocco ceiling fans either side of the main bed and the IBIS 4 Air Command reverse-cycle air-conditioner allow for a great night’s sleep.
The spacious slide-out club lounge creates an extra 560mm of width creating a spacious lounge area that comfortably allows the entire family to sprawl out and watch TV or play games.
The adjustable Nuova Mapa dining table can be lowered to convert into a double bed.
The kitchen area has excellent bench space, plenty of cupboards and drawers and includes a Swift Holiday four-burner cooktop and grill, microwave, 12-volt Ranger flush-mounted range hood and a 218-litre Waeco Coolmatic Fridge.
A 3.2kg Ranger top-load washing machine is under the bench.
The two rear bunks each have a reading light and 12-volt power to keep the kids happy with their iPads and gadgets.
The kids will also enjoy the RV Wi-Fi unit, which provides better connection to the internet so they can share their adventures with their friends or watch TV, and the reception is strong enough to be received in the car for the kids while driving.
The spacious ensuite opposite has a separate shower and Dometic toilet, and plenty of room to get dressed.
For off-grid adventures the Palazzo has two 95-litre water tanks, a greywater tank, two lithium batteries and a four-arm rear bumper to hold jerry cans or an extra spare wheel.
Thanks to the slide-out this luxurious family van has the space that the whole family can appreciate along with enough storage for all.
