The man missing in the State’s Wheatbelt has been found dead near the western shore of Lake Moore this morning.
Emergency services had conducted an extensive search for Matthew Shane Boyd after his car became bogged north of Koora.
The 33-year-old was travelling with a friend when they walked in separate directions for help. His friend was later located safe and well in farmland near Dalwallinu.
Police confirmed Mr Boyd was found about 10.50am in vegetation in the Carlyarn Nature Reserve, an area located more than five hours north-east of Perth.
During the search WA Police had called on local farmers and home owners to check their properties and sheds.
A WA Police spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances involved in his death.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
